Articleous prioritizes useful reporting, clear sourcing and honest limits over volume or manufactured certainty.

We choose stories for reader usefulness, public relevance and the opportunity to add verified context. Search demand or revenue potential cannot rescue a weak usefulness case. Dated deal roundups, disguised advertising and low-value rewrites are not part of our editorial model.
Reporting and sourcing
Writers are expected to identify the strongest available sources, favour primary records where practical, and distinguish established fact from analysis, allegation and uncertainty. A source link should support the claim beside it; a long source list does not compensate for weak evidence.
Originality
Articleous may use an older page, supplied document, transcript or external article as a reporting lead. The published work must have an independent structure and evidence base. We do not lightly paraphrase another publisher’s text or present generated wording as firsthand reporting.
Authors and review
Articles carry a named author, publication date and, where appropriate, a material update date. Stories are reviewed for accuracy, structure, fairness, usefulness, originality and digital presentation before publication. Specialist topics receive explicit boundaries where the article cannot replace individual professional advice.
Images and illustration
Images require a recorded rights basis. Documentary photographs are not replaced by generated scenes that could mislead readers about real events. Illustrations and materially generated imagery must be identified as such.
Commercial independence
Ownership, affiliate or commercial relationships are disclosed when they could affect how a reasonable reader evaluates a link or claim. Sponsored material must be labelled. Advertisers do not approve ordinary editorial conclusions.
Updates and corrections
Routine copy edits may be made without a note. Material changes that alter the substance, evidence or conclusion should be dated or described. Confirmed errors are handled under the corrections policy.
