Cookie policy

Articleous keeps non-essential analytics off unless you choose to allow it.

Last updated 24 September 2026

Necessary preference storage

Articleous stores one preference in your browser’s local storage: articleous-analytics-consent. It records “accepted” or “rejected” so the site can remember your choice. It is not used to follow you across websites.

Analytics cookies

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits using a random identifier. We use measurement ID G-ZVQQTK8Q9Z. The Analytics script is not requested from Google before consent.

If you choose Necessary only, the Analytics script and its cookies remain disabled. Declining does not reduce access to Articleous stories.

Cookie duration

New Google Analytics cookies are configured with a maximum lifetime of one year, without automatically extending that lifetime on each visit. Previously stored cookies may retain their earlier expiry until removed. Cookie settings lets you withdraw consent and remove accessible Analytics cookies. Your consent preference remains in local storage until you change it or clear site data.

Advertising

Advertising is disabled. The analytics choice does not grant advertising consent. Articleous will not enable Google AdSense until a Google-certified consent platform, appropriate disclosures and ad placements have been configured and tested.

Change or remove your choice

Use the button below at any time. You can also remove Articleous cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing site data will make the consent question appear again.
